Kinzenbach Railway Station and Railbus Museum

The Kinzenbach train station was on the former »Kanonenbahn«, which ran from Berlin to the French border near Metz, in the Lollar – Wetzlar section. This section was the bypass of the Gießen railway junction, which was operated in sections until 1990 in freight traffic.
In 1996 the "Kanonenbahnfreunde Heuchelheim" founded to commemorate the railway history as part of a local museum in the old Kinzenbach train station: heimatmuseum-heuchelheim.de

The former Kinzenbach train station is used as a local museum. Two red rail buses can be seen behind the museum.

Locomotive 60 of the Biebertalbahn made a stopover at Heuchelheim-Kinzenbach station before continuing on to Plettenberg. She was welcomed by around 1000 Bieberlies friends and the Heuchelheim brass band.
