Biological Station Kreis Recklinghausen – Hof Punsmann

The Biological Station has existed since 1990 and aims to preserve native animal and plant species, as well as typical natural and cultural landscapes. Since 1994, the station has been housed in the historic Punsmann farm in the Hohe Mark Nature Park. In summer there are regular events and seminars.

The Lembeck Biological Station in Hof Punsmann is committed to nature conservation, cooperation and environmental education. Very nice cottage garden, tended by the volunteer Jan. The manager, Mr. Tenger, always ready to help and explain😻👍

The Biological Station Kreis Recklinghausen is located in the Hohe Mark Nature Park. Since 2015 it has been a nature park house and thus a contact point and information center for visitors to the nature park.
In addition to the beautiful Punsmann farm (main building built in 1846 with information centre), there is a. a meadow orchard, a species-rich pond and a natural garden.
Comfortable benches invite you to take a break in this idyllic place.
