Fantastic mountain hut with lovingly furnished rooms. The hut is open all year from 9am to 6pm and serves all day hikers with home-cooked food. If you stay overnight up here, you should definitely secure a spot in the hotpot. The large wooden tub stands outside and while you relax in the hot water, you can enjoy the view of the mountains.

At the Krunkelbachhütte you have to pass if you already hike here. Food and drink fit. There is room for everyone inside and out. From many directions, this restaurant can start. Plan the trip in your tour, you will not regret it.

Very nice to hike here with a view of all the valleys around Bernau in the Black Forest. Good shoes without stroller. To run from 5 years if child wants. You can park in Bernau Weierle to start the tours from there.

Around the Höhenwaderweg Bernau - Menzenschwand you can enjoy panoramic views of various valleys. The view of the Feldberg is impressive and certainly a highlight

It was the first time at the Krunkelbachhütte, and for the 50th anniversary Krunkelbachhütte. It was nice, with music and dancing.

From the directions Bernau, Feldberg, Menzenschwand and other Zuwanderwegen guests come here on foot, by mountain bike, on ski or on snowshoes together. A real sports and hiking hut with a rustic ski hut charm, outside with hot water Jacuzzi. The is heated to pre-order even in the dead of winter regularly. In winter starting point for sleigh rides 3.5 km down to Bernau Hofeck. From there, there is also the Pistenbully taxi to the Krunkelbach hut for those who do not want to run up so much. A short detour to the nearby Spiesshorn with a view is always there. The cabin catering leaves nothing to be desired, you do not have to stay on the table, if you for. B. has taken too long break, there are several shared rooms. But here you would better book in advance on the Internet on the website. Attention winter break.

Warm up in winter, or a warm bath in the heated whirlpool

Is ideally located on several hikes u.a. close to the up / down to the Herzogenhorn. Enough space and seating for all hikers / cyclists and connoisseurs with views of the valley and the mountains. Food very tasty and regionally anchored such. the currant-Schorle vom Bodensee. Goulash soup and stew are excellent as a small snack for in between, rounded off by fine cake for dessert. Nice staff, is very fast - not too crowded, priced in the context of a mountain restaurant.
Also offers a large "bathing tub", but probably more for the winter.

Top dishes, homemade and all ingredients from the region, e.g. Bernau Weiderind. Cozy anyway!

Wunderwunderschönste corner in the great Black Forest. Especially on a golden October day.

For the first time at the Krunkelbachhütte and just for the 50th anniversary. Something different: Rest with music and dance.
