Very varied, but also not without. We were traveling here with our children, who mastered the path very well. It's not really difficult, but you have to be careful at all times. You should be sure-footed and wear good, sturdy hiking shoes. With small breaks in between and enjoying the view, a great alternative to the ascent.

From my point of view, the southern route (southern part of the circular route) is very attractive because of the route - demanding T2 terrain and also relatively quiet due to the low frequency of use. You meet proportionally fewer hikers than on the north side (Kampenwandbahn to Steinlingalm or Sulten.
