Here in Franconian, too, the half-timbering has its own style. The framework in general is a skeleton structure made of wood, the bracing is carried out via diagonally installed struts. The spaces in between are filled with wood mesh or masonry. Furthermore, the decorations are decisive and in Franconian the built-in St. Andrew's crosses can still be admired.
