To hike along the big "E" on a yellow background on the north side of the Eggetal is something special. And when you're out and about in summer, you can linger in many places to enjoy (and take photos) beautiful views.

The Wiehengebirge in the northeast of North Rhine-Westphalia offers ideal conditions for extensive hiking tours. A special tip is the Eggetal between the Wiehengebirge and the Egge.
With the districts of Börninghausen (climatic health resort since 1992), Büscherheide and Einighausen, the Eggetal is rightly called the "jewel of the Lübbecker Land". The quiet and idyllic places are on the southern slope of the Egge and are almost entirely surrounded by wooded heights.
