The pedestrian and cyclist bridge is called the "Hasenbrücke" (Hasen Bridge). The historic stone arch bridge dates back to 1899, when the Bünde-Rahden-Sulingen-Bassum-Bremen railway line was opened. It is located almost exactly at the top of the Wiehen Mountains pass between Preußisch Oldendorf and Rödinghausen. As far as I know, the Hasenbrücke/Neue Mühle Wiehen Mountains crossing is the lowest and least strenuous, the "Brenner Pass of Wiehen" so to speak. It is particularly interesting for cyclists without an electric motor who find the Kahle-Wart-Straße and other crossings too steep.
