Zwiesel was and is one of the most important glass towns in the Bavarian Forest. You can see this, among other things, from the fact that Zwiesel is home to the highest crystal glass pyramid in the world. Another special feature are Zwiesel's underground passages, which probably date back to the Middle Ages. Many were destroyed, but you can now visit some of them again on a guided tour. And Zwiesel has a lot to offer. Let the "Bavarian Forest metropolis" surprise you.
