Eifgen-Höhenweg

Under the title "Dhünnhochfläche - Waterworks of the Region", the Rheinisch-Bergische Kreis together with the Wupperverband and the municipalities, Burscheid, Kürten, Odenthal and Wermelskirchen has worked out the peculiarities of the region. A total of 14 hiking trails, 12 of them as circular hiking trails bring you closer to the varied and impressive natural landscapes of the Dhünn plateau, the Dhünntalsperre and the Eifgental.

The Eifgenbach is one of the most attractive streams of the Dhünn plateau. It rises on Rattenberg, east of Wermelskirchen and finally flows as the longest tributary in the Dhünn, near Odenthal Schöllerhof.

In some places it is worthwhile to descend from the path to the stream to enjoy the rippling water and take a break

Great nature to see ... you wonder how the trees can grow on the rocks and when you look down, you can see the Eifgenbach rushing down in the valley. Insanity NATURE !!!
