The Adams spring is named in honor of a spa doctor who worked in the hospital in Bad Flinsberg at the end of the 19th century. Dr. Waldemar Adam was the private doctor of the Graff family Schaffgotsch. He introduced natural treatment methods, which is why he was called "Quark Doctor".
