The Passo Giramondo (2,009 meters) marks the border crossing on the "Hochweißsteinhaus-Wolayerseehütte" section of the Carnic Höhenweg.From Italy, the ascent continues slowly and moderately steeply from the Fleons pastures to the Sella Sissanis and the immediately adjacent Lago Pera Creta di Bordaglia reaches the altitude of 2,000 meters, where it continues to Passo Giramondo, from where it turns from north-west to west, descending steeply to 1,700 meters, where it turns south to the upper Wolayer Alm.
