Very nice accommodation at the Ferienalp Adelboden mountain hut, slightly below the Bonderalp-Hütte. With Christa and Gottfried, you feel at home with the family!

Since the weather was so gigantically good, we shortened the already divided stage to a half-day tour and instead took the cable car, train, and cable car again up to the Schilthorn in the morning: highly recommended in good weather and neither as expensive nor as crowded as the Jungfraujoch!

Since the Via Alpina on this stage leads almost exclusively over wide gravel paths, we have changed the route slightly: We took the cogwheel train to Brandegg, used the comparatively beautiful (but significantly longer!) hiking trail down from the Kleine Scheidegg to Wengen, and took the train back from Wengen to Lauterbrunnen.
