The Jägerschlösschen is about 2 km east of Lednice on a yellow marked hiking trail between Lednice and Podivín, about 500 m from the Johannes Castle. The castle was built between 1805 and 1806 according to the design of the architect Joseph Hartmuths.

The classicist building has a loggia with Tuscan columns on the first floor and was usually used as a forester's house during hunts. It was not far to Johannes Castle, where, after the hunt, the gentlemen enjoyed themselves in an impetuous mood until the broad daylight all night. The castle interior is unfortunately not open to the public today.
