Lány Castle (interior is inaccessible to the public) is located in the Soutok enclosure, not far from the confluence of the rivers Thaya (Dyje) and March (Morava), just before the Austrian-Czech border. It is located about 7 km south of Breclau (Břeclav), in the floodplain forest. The area is crossed by tourist trails, nature trails, canals, rivulets, ponds and blind arms of the rivers. The beautifully blossomed meadows form carpets of flowers in spring and rare birds sing in the tree tops.
