Behind the house is the monument "The Monument" from 1812, which reminds of two successful hunts by Grand Duke Carl Friedrich, who is said to have killed two white deer here in 1807. A little further on is an old Schwengelbrunnen from 1815. The original monument house was a hunting lodge for Grand Duke Karl von Baden.
