Tiergarten

The zoo was created for hunting at that time, what luck for all of us.
 In the war years, the trees here and in the Grunewald were cut down and burned in the stoves. Everything has been reforested for a long time and again offers shady paths and lawns in the summer months.

Large beautiful park in the middle of the city, through the lakes, the Spree in the north and the Landwehr Canal in the south, there is also a lot of water. There are many beautiful paths through the Tiergarten, also by bike, to avoid the busy street of June 17th (e.g. the Bremer Weg parallel to it). It is probably the largest and most beautiful park right in the center of Berlin.

Especially today rather less quiet on Freedom Day, but otherwise very spacious and a green oasis in the city.
