The Nikolaikirche is the oldest intact church building in the historical center of Berlin in the Nikolaiviertel and is a listed building. The church, which was de-warmed in 1938, is a museum belonging to the Berlin City Museum Foundation, where concerts are also held regularly.

The Nikolaikirche with its distinctive double peak is the heart of the Nikolaiviertel and the oldest parish church in the city. After reconstruction in 1987, the Nikolaikirche houses a permanent exhibition on the history of the church and the Nikolaiviertel.
