It will be possible to bike over the dike on 1st and 2nd July 2023 between 8am and 6pm. After that, the dike will be closed again for cyclists and you have to take the bike-bus which operates during day time every hour. In 2024 they will open a 24km section of the 32km dike, but the remaining part still has to be done via bus. It's possible that this situation continues for a couple of more years as the re-construction of the sealocks is delayed by years.

Currently you can't ride the Afsluitdijk, but whether you want to go from north to south or south to north ,every hour you can catch this bus. Don't forget to bring your mask.
