Great Mis Tor

Great Mis Tor generally hides in the mist on those typical Dartmoor days, situated on the edge of the merrivale firing range you can see for miles on a clear day. It is close enough to the road and parking to bail if the weathers bad but far up enough to feel far from home which is why this is a great location for those new to wildcamping and a great stop for hikers. Check out Little Mis Tor on the way up which is often overlooked due to its Greater neighbour.

These stone formations in the barren landscape of the Dartmoor are really mystical, especially with a bit of mist around.
