Bockwindmühle Auguste
In 1810 it was built near Alvesse near Braunschweig, but destroyed by a lightning strike in 1944 and then shut down. In 1973 it was disassembled into its individual parts, transported to Suhlendorf and rebuilt there. It is windy, can turn on the box and will be made ready for grinding again in the near future. A visit to the big "old lady" on the Mühlenberg is definitely an experience.
