The Altbaierische Oxenweg is the 27.4 kilometer section of a historic trade route from Hungary to Augsburg that runs through the Aichach-Friedberg district. The hike becomes a cultural experience with unique cultural treasures and culinary specialties in the "Wittelsbacher Land". The tour surprises with numerous art-historical gems and oases for relaxation. The Altbaierische Oxenweg runs (west / east direction) from Augsburg via Friedberg - Heimatshausen - Paar - Harthausen - Heimat - Malzhausen - Ziegelbach - Adelzhausen - Heretshausen - Tödtenried to Kiemertshofen in the Dachau district.
