Nice tour from the Augsburg Zoo over the east bank of the Lech towards Hammerschmiede, Mühlhausen, Affing, Gaulzhofen to Weichenberg to the Clematis restaurant at the Christoph tree nursery. Be sure to stop here! Back via Igenhausen, Hiesling, Griesbeckerzell, Obergriesbach, Taiting, Stätzling back to Augsburg

Nice bike tour from Braunlage station to Walkenried Abbey on the route of the Südharzeisenbahn (SHE), which was closed in 1963. In Braunlage the tour runs along the banks of the Bode, then through extensive forests and meanders on a winding route down into the Wieda Valley down to Walkenried. In Walkenried, a visit to the Cistercian monastery complex and the attached museum is a must. Nice café right next to the museum.
The way back is the same way to Braunlage.

If you want to experience the Brocken without crowds, start early in the morning. We started at 4:30 in Braunlage at the valley station of the Wurmbergbahn and were shortly after 6 at the Brockengipfel. After the Wurmberg it goes a long way along the former border path, later on the new Goethe path and Brockenstrasse to the summit.

The tour starts at the valley station of the Wurmbergbahn and leads over the Wurmberg and the beautiful village of Schierke on forest trails and many S0 and S1 trails to Wernigerode and back. The gradients are moderate, the trails are somewhat exposed.
Wernigerode invites you to stroll with its numerous, thoroughly cleaned half-timbered houses.
