Beautiful hike, who is geologically interested does not come out of amazement! Breathtaking views, on the way is a refreshment bar. It is recommended to make this hike in the winter months, as it is one of the most popular in Madeira and is therefore relatively crowded in high season!

Be aware that the winds can be quite strong. Sunglasses help with the debris and light layers can keep you warm when the sweat you’ve worked up starts working against you.

There are tables and benches available for a picnic. Unfortunately you can neither buy food nor drink there. WCs are unfortunately not available :-(
