Breed from Fleischerei & Partyservice Danilo Dubau GmbH.

We are a butchery with our own slaughtering and production based in Hoyerswerda in Saxony. We currently have 10 branches and two sales vans, which we use to drive around the weekly markets. In our modernly equipped production rooms, around 200 meat and sausage specialties are produced in-house, which makes up around 97% of the goods. Today we have 120 employees, including 2 apprentices. We offer you an extensive and very diverse party service from Monday to Saturday.
We get our pigs from the Saxon town of Klix. Our cattle are of the German Angus breed and from our own breeding.
The butcher is managed by Danilo Dubau (master butcher, meat sommelier and grill trainer). His wife Annett (trained butcher), his son Ludwig (trained butcher) and his daughter Sophie (Bachelor in meat technology) are also active in the butcher shop.

The fallow deer is a medium-sized deer - significantly larger than the deer but smaller than the red deer. Female fallow deer is referred to as a fallow animal. Characteristic features are the shovel antlers of the male animals and the spotted summer fur. They prefer to live in open landscapes, in which small forest areas and agricultural areas alternate.
The weight usually varies between 53 and 90 kg for the males and between 35 and 55 kg for the females. The fallow deer prefers sparse forests and extensive meadows, but is generally very adaptable. The fallow deer is a ruminant. Grass, hay, chestnuts, acorns, apples, pears, plums, potatoes, beets ... are part of his diet. Fallow deer are social animals and live in packs of 30-200 animals. The rutting season or reproduction begins in September and is largely completed in early November. Fallow deer reach an average age of 15-20 years. Fallow deer are considered to be very suitable for an enclosure because they are frugal, trusted towards people and show a largely compatible behavior among themselves. The Damwild butchery has been breeding in its own enclosures since 2002. Particular attention is paid to the original and natural environment of the animals. The enclosure comprises a small forest area and a meadow with a size of approx. 2 ha. The herd comprises approx. 24 animals from brown and black male and female animals. Every year around 4 fawn are born in June. In summer they mainly feed on grass, in winter on self-harvested hay - as well as potatoes, apples, bread rolls, etc. Some of them are tame. In general, they have gotten used to people and are very curious.
The red and black deer we use for the production come from our own domestic hunting areas.
