The Klingenberg Dam, built between 1908 and 1914, has been supplying Dresden with drinking water for more than 100 years. The listed gravity dam, which was originally called the Friedrich August Dam, was extensively renovated after the devastating floods of 2002 to 2013. The hiking trail around the dam is the perfect length for a leisurely circular walk.
