Nowadays, the Dillenburg Orangery is home to the Carriage Museum. It was built in the 18th century by Prince Wilhelm the Good of Nassau-Dillenburg and has served over the years as a greenhouse, gymnasium and feed store for the horses of the state stud.

The orangery was built in 1719 by Prince Wilhelm the Good of Nassau-Dillenburg as a greenhouse for exotic plants. In the course of time, the building has experienced a wide variety of uses: it was initially a place of worship for the small Lutheran congregation, then (from 1806 - 1893) for the Catholic congregation. Later it served the gymnastics club as a gym and then the state stud as a feed store. The Carriage Museum has been housed here since 1970.

The building is currently being restored. You can see apart from the scaffolding and not plan much.
