Staufenberg Castle ruins (Upper Castle) and the hotel complex below.
The ruins are freely accessible and worth a visit at any time of year. The various remains of old walls make wonderful photo opportunities. A small tower with a very narrow spiral staircase crowns the complex. From the small platform, which can only accommodate a handful of people, you have a wonderful view of the surrounding area. Gleiberg Castle, Vetzberg, and the Dünsberg, to name just a few.
