Confluence of the Saale and Unstrut Rivers

A very beautiful piece of earth on the flower ground, where the Saale and the Unstrut flow together. The natural pool was still in use until the early 1990s, with the pool water being pumped from the Saale into the pool.

From here you cycle on the Saale cycle path either in the direction of Bad Kösen or in the direction of Naumburg and Schönburg.

The 192 km long Unstrt flows into the 412 km long Saale near Naumburg.

The flower ground is a popular tourist destination in the region.
It not only impresses with its attractive landscape, this is also where the main landing stage of the "Fröhliche Dörte" and the "Unstrutnixe" is located.
A ferry connects the Saale cycle path with the Unstrut cycle path.
For camping friends there is a very nice campsite.
