Tips
While the first settlers built their houses here in the 18th century, it was customary to build a cellar near the houses for storing supplies and wine. Something unusual about the cellar district in Edelstal is that in a comparatively small community, so many cellars have been created in a separate district away from the apartments. On certain days, even today some cellars open their doors and in particular offer some of the delicious wine from the region.
