"Königswarte" is the name of Austria's easternmost mountain (344 m). Atop the Königswarte, there is an observation tower with a beautiful view of Bratislava, Hainburg, and the border triangle (Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary).

Immediately next to it is a listening device (now a telecommunications reconnaissance device) built during the Cold War to spy on the "Eastern Bloc." The device is still in operation.

Legal access from Wolfsthal, but bicycles are prohibited from Berg.

(Considering its size, Berg is the town with the most bicycle bans in Austria—that's my impression.)
