Eye to eye with the lynxThe brush ears are back in the Harz forests. But they are - like all cats - very shy. So anyone who sees them in the wild is a true lucky guy. So that everyone can admire it, we have built a lynx sanctuary on the Rabenklippe near Bad Harzburg. Here you can watch the lynxes Pamina, Paul, Alice, Ellen and Tamino basking in the sun, climbing trees or sneaking through their territory.Especially popular is our public lynx feeding. Here you will learn about the lynxes of our National Park staff and can observe the cats at close range during their meal. After a visit to the lynx enclosure, the nearby National Park Forest Restaurant Rabenklippe not only offers refreshments, but also one of the most beautiful views over the Eckertal and on the Brocken.
