Bad Vilbel Water Castle

A very nice town, lying directly on the Nidda. Bad Vilbel is well known nationwide for its many mineral springs.

The Castle Festival Bad Vilbel has been held annually since 1987 in the historic moated castle of Bad Vilbel, from the beginning of June to the beginning of September. In addition to four of their own theatrical productions, the open-air stage also includes numerous guest performances, theater plays for children and matinees (cabaret and solo programs by well-known artists). Since 2001, the Castle Festival Bad Vilbel belong to the working group of the ten German festival venues, an association of professional open-air stages in Germany.
