The small Filzalm is the oldest alpine farm on the Hohe Salve. The original building structure has been preserved to this day. On the small terrace you can enjoy the view of the nearby Filzalmsee while taking a leisurely rest.

The Filzalm is open from May to October. In May and June it is open from Wednesday to Sunday, and in the rest of the season it is open daily.

Hikers appreciate the Filzalmsee (1,300 m) in Hochbrixen because of the natural alpine landscape and the rare animal and plant species that can be explored by young and old on the panoramic trails. Next to the Filzalmsee, a biotope has been created with an insight peep box and nature discovery stations that reveal the secrets of the underwater world. There is also a giant sandpit with lots of great surprises for our little hikers!
