The path leads up a rather steep and narrow staircase along the side of the waterfall to the upper level. Incidentally, it's completely unsuitable for biking and not recommended.

Along the Altbach over many small and well maintained bridges you can reach the Giessenfall on narrow paths through the forest. At this point, the Altbach falls about 40 meters in depth. From below you have a picturesque view of the Giessenfall and the small pond. Just above the Giessenfall invites a picnic area with tables and benches and a fireplace for rest and enjoy.
