The mill gate, also Stralsunder gate, in Tribsees is one of the two remaining gates of the weir plant, which surrounded the city. The Gothic three-storey brick gate from the 13th century was built on a fieldstone base and secured the road to Stralsund. It has several striking plaster covers. The usually richer decorated field side has several ogival apertures and a staggered gable. This is framed by a plaster band and decorated with pointed arch and Eckfialen.
The city side is simpler designed. It has a centered, on both upper floors reaching walled depression with a small window in the middle. In the gable are two round-arched hatches and a final unplastered round arch.

The mill gate looks beautiful from the land side, the city side is much simpler.de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%BChlentor_(Tribsees)
