The Alte Bockwindmühle on the Zuckelhausen stone mountain is the Holzhausenern as a landmark of their community. 1902, the predecessor of the current Holzhausener mill was dismantled in a storm in parts. Instead of a reconstruction 1904 the mill was brought from Dreiskau on the Gösel and placed on the Steinberg. Since the late 20s, the mill was used only for cutting grain and 1932, a diesel engine was installed for the low-wind times. After more than 46 years, the operation of the windmill was stopped in 1950 - the adjacent engine mill was decidedly more efficient in the long run. In 1958, the county council protected the mill, of which nobody wanted to know anything in the sixties, so they lacked money and materials. Since 1983, the mill is an official monument. The inner life has now been expanded, the shell was gradually decaying and is currently being restored.
