The cycle path here runs directly on the Elbe dyke, from where you have a beautiful view of the floodplain landscape between the dyke and the Elbe (the Elbe itself is about a kilometer away from the dyke and therefore hardly visible). The landscape consists of extensive meadows, with some brackish water and trees (mostly willows).
