The Sevelter St. Marienkirche is a gem of ecclesiastical architecture and one of the oldest churches in the Oldenburger Münsterland.

Due to the heavy field stones and the climbing roses, the construction from the outside is already an experience.
Inside, the church is special because of its simple beauty.
Two large, round leaded-glass windows add a special light to the sanctuary.

The church is open during the daytime - also outside the church hours.

A few meters further, then driving towards Elsten, is one of the last bicycle factories in Germany. The bicycle factory Engelbert Meyer.
Here steel frames are produced and processed into really great bicycles.
