Nice shelter to linger and observe nature on and at the Treppelsee. Unfortunately, vandalism has fallen a little bit over the years, but still worth a visit.

Hiking

The aging bird watching hut was demolished in late summer 2024 by trainees from the state forestry service and rebuilt under the guidance of their instructor. Many thanks!! Also to everyone who worked to make this possible. You can observe numerous water birds from here, especially in the afternoon. Tip: Don't forget your binoculars!
