From the Kreuzleshöhe you have a wonderful view of the western Allgäu. The ascent from the main road to the summit cross is four kilometers long, with several (!) extreme climbs! It's exhausting on a racing bike. You might enjoy it more on the descent (back again).

From the parking lot in Eisenbach you go through the border village Kreuzthal-Eisenbach, on the Wirtsberg. From the Wirtsberg we continue towards Kreuzleshöhe. You pass the small Schwedenschanze. Arriving at the Kreuzleshöhe, you have a nice view over the Adelegg.

Road cycling
With the road bike high, that is exhausting, above great view, but you have to go back the same way, because otherwise there are only gravel roads, great with mountain bike. Beware of many grazing weeds. :-)
