The viewpoint is accessible via a nearly overgrown path (summer) that ends in a dead end. It is located directly at the Aussiger Turm climbing crag. The name is somewhat misleading, as the Liethenkamm ridge is quite a distance away. Perhaps "Aussiger Turm" would be a better choice. It is completely unsecured and the drop is quite a long way down. The view is possible both downstream and upstream. Niedergrund lies below.
