The project "Badger I" is an unfinished underground relocation of a hydrogenation plant to the Jakobsberg near the railway station in Porta Westfalica. This U-shift belonged to the so-called Geilenberg program (Mineralölsicherungsplan) and the cover name was "Badger I". As part of the mineral oil safety plan, nine refinery projects were planned from roof I to IX. The project aimed to build a Deurag-Nerag refinery underground. The prisoners came to work from the concentration camp outer camp Porta Westfalica. Source: Wikipedia
