Tips
The rock passage is so narrow in places that only one-way traffic is possible. A flashlight is necessary to explore the rock tunnel through which a path leads.The name "Kuelscheier" probably came about because charcoal from the charcoal kilns in the area was temporarily stored in the cracks in the rock group. The cracks served as a kind of barn and thus received the name "Kuelscheier", or "coal barn".The Kuelscheier is located directly on Route 2 of the Mullerthal Trail.
