Robbers' Cave Berdorf

Berdorf is a great area in Luxembourgish Switzerland with big sandstone cliffs. Absolutely recommended for climbers and those who want to be there. Even for hiking Berdorf is lonely top! Whether beginner or advanced, they all get their money's worth here. Dog owners have some disadvantages on ladders and bridges in some places, but our little one loves this area, although occasionally it needs to be lifted.

Addendum 2022: So today not only descended into the robber's cave, but also through it. I had to pass a short bottleneck on all fours. Can you do it? No problem. From there you are right back outside. It might be best to come in from the side labeled Entrance and up the ladder, ie the other way around as on my tour!In order to find the entrance to the robber's cave, I had to search specifically! Iron ladders lead down into the dark. Not everyone in the group dared to do that. Then you can walk a bit through the cave of the type of a crevice. It should also be possible to walk through it completely and then get out somewhere else. But I would have had to keep moving on all fours, which I did without.When I visited, two girls were inside the cave looking for a geocache....By the way, the hiking trails in this corner are one of the reasons why I came to komoot.... Without a GPS and map, you can get lost at least 3 times over a distance of 100 meters....

At the Räuberhöhle over (you can also through) we have climbed through the "gorge". The view up is wonderful.
