A really rewarding detour, after the traffic on the way from Herford to here (esp. When arriving via Herforder Str.) Now a little piece of idyll. Here, a slope through a handsome forest to cope. The path can become a bit slippery after rainfall and leaf fall.

Natural beech forest, small quarry with dry grass. The dirt road east of the summit leads through a lonely romantic landscape of meadows and forest edges.

Small mountain (hill) with summit cross. A nice place to stay or to take a walk through the forest.
