Hiking

Gingen is called the "Pearl of the Fils Valley" and is picturesquely nestled between mountains at the interface of the Albtrauf and Fils landscape parks. As a destination and starting point for hikers, the community is perfect. The Albsteig runs through the town and Gingen offers itself as a stage. You can start or end hiking here with the regional train or on the federal highway 10 from Stuttgart, Esslingen and Plochingen.
