The Jagdhausalm in the rear Defereggental is one of the oldest alpine pastures in Austria. The Jagdhausalm comprises a collection consisting of 16 houses and a church. The Jagdhausalm is easily accessible via the road and is also a popular destination for mountain bikers. The Alm is managed and is open until the beginning of October.

one of the most beautiful valley hikes in East Tyrol and in the rear of Defreggen. The Jagdhausalm is also called "Little Tibet". In one of the old walls there is catering with a veranda.

The Jagdhausalm, located in the Hohe Tauern National Park at the end of the East Tyrolean Defereggen Valley, is one of the oldest alpine pastures in Austria. Consisting of 16 stone houses, all listed monuments, and a chapel, it is also known as the "Tibetan Village" because of its appearance.
