Definitely worth a visit!
The Barmer HĂĽtte is also a great starting point for beautiful tours, such as: Lenkstein, GroĂźe Ohrenspitze, Barmer Spitze and not to forget the Hochgall through the Hochgallrinne (for which you really have to be an alpinist). It is also a stopover on the Riesenferner tour and the Skyline 360 East Tyrol.
