The Keilkopf does not impress with its view, as it is forested from top to bottom. However, it is an absolutely beautiful forest, which is also what makes the hike so appealing. At the highest point of the little Köpfel there is a small summit cross and of course there is also a summit book to write in. After a short break in the shade of the trees, it is downhill to the hut.

The summit of the wedge head is in the middle of the forest. A view, as is usual on summits, does not exist from here. Nevertheless, there is a small summit cross including obligatory summit book. As a stopover to Denkalm offers the wedge head as a small detour.
