Very beautiful massive construction made of bluestone, which was extracted from the quarries in the area. The farm buildings belong to the former Merols Castle, which dates back to the 13th century. The farm itself dates back to the 17th century. The current name of the moated castle can be traced back to the name of the Waldenburg family, who acquired it in the 18th century.
